Woe to Those Who Call Evil Good!

As I was reading some of the Scriptures spoke to me in the light of politics and some of the preconceived sanctions that will be imposed upon our nation once One of Two is pronounced our new President.

Contradictions as most are aware will be performed and announced by both candidates of choice, for most politicians lie while campaigning to gain the vote for election. There's not a thing more disgraceful than lying for this is the root of all evil, that and disobedience. Yet, what are the American people to do in this 2024 election, but to vote for the lesser of two evils?

As Christians, we should pray to our God with a contrite heart and listen to His guidance, but most likely, even "Good and Faithful" Christians' will vote whomever they desire. There's many personal and communicable reasons one would vote for one over the other and even if we're conflicted after prayer, pray again and LISTEN to what God tells you to do.

Now, take a survey of what each candidate is saying, does it fall in line with biblical scripture, The Word of God? IF Not, make a note on paper what you hear coming from each one, and with one of our candidates we have 4 years of previous accountability, how did he perform last time? The other person has been Vice President for almost 4 years, and has served the people of California as Attorney General, check out some of things she did while serving in that capacity.

Now, pray, remember to seek God's face with a humble heart, if you're able to kneel in prayer do it, God knows if you're able of not, He'll reward the ones that are trusting Him.

Some may think that the scripture below by making application to our time in history is taking the Word out of context, but I contend the Word of God is sharper than any two edged sword and when the truth is told once by God, it stands the test of time and application is prudent and necessary when the application resides with Truth!

Isaiah 5:20-25

"Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, (thoughts of abortion, if a woman chooses to have sexual intercourse, and the man chooses not to use protection, then they are setting themselves up for a possible pregnancy and should think about the possible consequences of their actions prior too.)

who put darkness for light, and light for darkness,

who put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!

Woe to those who are wise in their own eyes,

and shrewd in their own sight!!

Woe to those who are heroes at drinking wine,

and valiant men in mixing strong drink,

who acquit the guilty for a bribe,

and deprive the innocent of his right! (Righteousness and Justice are God's foundation on His Throne, all others, including self needs to be honest with their own deeds of trust and humility!)

Therefore, as the tongue of fire devours the stubble,

and as dry grass sinks down in the flame, so their root will be as rottenness,

and their blossom go up like dust; and they have rejected the law of the

LORD of HOSTS, and have despised the Word of the Holy One of Israel.

Therefore the anger of the LORD was kindled against his people, and he stretched out his hand against them and struck them, and the mountains quaked; and their corpses were as refuse in the midst of the streets.

For all this his anger has not turned away, and his hand is stretched out still.

[vs 26. He will raise a signal for nations far away and whistle for them from the ends of the earth and behold, quickly, speedily they come!]
